It's been a few months since I was with the Stafford family and what seems like forever since I delivered their gallery. Beth and I met in an online photographers community. Instantly we became friends. We attended the Pursuit Conference in Rome, GA a few years later and had the intentions of going back the following year together. Plans changed, babies came, and we weren't able to both go. Around this time last year Beth told me she was pregnant with her fourth child. She began hinting at having me come out to do a lifestyle session with them once the baby arrived. In all honestly I thought she was joking, but turns out she wasn't. Traveling to Oregon was an amazing experience. Not only did I get to see the beautiful state of Oregon, but I was able to spend a few days with my friend and her adorable family. There is nothing like a houseful of boys, and for those of you with all boys - you get it. #boymom's unite! Before I left for my long trek back to Kentucky, Owen drew me a picture which is still on my fridge, Owen and Wade then gave me their school pictures to remember them by. I found them tucked away in my wallet just yesterday. All the boys, including Karl, talked about farming from the time I arrived to the time I left. I came home determined to add a few chickens and some sheep to our farm. So thankful for my time with such a dear family and completely honored that another talented photographer chose me out of everyone to capture this special season of their lives.
